Getting Started with Ethereum / Zcash mining (ETH / ZEC)

Quick start guide for mining cryptocurrency:

  1. Install your mining rig and GPUs on a mining frame using USB risers. If you are new to mining, try one of our GPU-only frames to place the video cards next to your existing desktop computer.
You don’t HAVE to have a 6-GPU rig! If you have an AMD-branded video card, that should be enough to get started.
  2. Our preferred mining software are both made by Claymore.
    1. Ethereum (ETH): Bitcointalk
    2. ZCash (ZEC): Bitcointalk
  3. Download, unzip the miner and input the pool URL and your wallet address (or an address on an exchange).
  4. Start mining, monitor the number of shares and keep your GPU temperature at a maximum of 75C.
  5. Hodl, or exchange for Bitcoin / BTC.
  6. Profit
