Getting Started with Ethereum / Zcash mining (ETH / ZEC)
Quick start guide for mining cryptocurrency:
- Install your mining rig and GPUs on a mining frame using USB risers. If you are new to mining, try one of our GPU-only frames to place the video cards next to your existing desktop computer.
You don’t HAVE to have a 6-GPU rig! If you have an AMD-branded video card, that should be enough to get started. - Our preferred mining software are both made by Claymore.
- Ethereum (ETH): Bitcointalk
- ZCash (ZEC): Bitcointalk
- Download, unzip the miner and input the pool URL and your wallet address (or an address on an exchange).
- Start mining, monitor the number of shares and keep your GPU temperature at a maximum of 75C.
- Hodl, or exchange for Bitcoin / BTC.
- Profit
